The objective of the Conference is to enable young researchers from all Baltic countries to present and discuss results of their researches. This multidisciplinary conference will cover various aspects of marine environmental research: from molecular ecology of aquatic organisms, biodiversity and functioning of the plankton and benthos communities to the modeling of the ecosystem processes. Also the socio-economic and coastal zone management studies are welcome. We hope that this forum will stimulate the mobility and research cooperation of young scientists in our region.

The previous four international events attended by students from 12 countries who presented the results of 167 scientific studies in oral and poster sessions. During the conferences well–known specialists from Lithuania and other countries - dr. Kestutis Arbaciauskas, dr. Raliv Zellev, dr. Darius Daunys, prof. Frederik Wulff, prof. Jan Marcin Weslawski, prof. Sergej Olenin, prof. Mike Elliot had been prepared the lectures and interactive sessions for students.
